Job Description:
  • ANSYS is looking for a Java/J2EE developer to be a part of the Engineering Knowledge Manager (EKM) team based at Pune. 
  • EKM is an enterprise application based on latest J2EE technologies that addresses process and data management needs of Engineering simulation software users.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new features and maintaining existing features in Web interface (JSF/XHTML/Javascript/AJAX) and Desktop interface of EKM (Swing/SOAP).
  • EKM is a fairly recent product from ANSYS and the selected candidate will get opportunity to develop from scratch brand new features.
Desired Profile:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or Masters in Computer Applications or equivalent (preferably from IITs and IISC)
  • 0-4 years of software development experience
  • Exposure to OO programming is desirable
  • Knowledge of Java development environment (Ant, Eclipse etc.) and latest J2EE and Web technologies (JSF, Ajax etc.) is desirable
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Good communication skills
