AAI provides air navigation services over 2.8 million square nautical miles of air space. During the year 2008- 09, AAI handled aircraft movement of 1306532 Nos. [International 270345 and Domestic 1036187], Passengers handled 44262137 Nos. [International 1047614 and Domestic 33785990] and the cargo handled 499418 tonnes [International 318242 and Domestic 181176].

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and certain other categories of persons for appointments to the following posts. The details of the posts are as follows :

  • Officers in Grade 'B' : 80 posts (UR-40,SC-15,ST-5, OBC-20) (PH-6), Age : 21-30 years, Pay Scale : Rs.21000-36400, Qualification : A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade OR ii) A Second Class Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade OR iii) A Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade OR iv) Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree OR v) A Post Graduate Diploma in Management / MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India / University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor's Degree.
Selection by written test on 06/02/2011 and interview.

Application Fee : Rs.100/- (No fee is payable by SC/ST/PH candidates) payable by Demand Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft and in the space provided for the purpose on the Postal Orders (if fee is payable) and enclose them to the application with a pin (should not be stapled). However, candidates from un-banked areas may pay fee by crossed Indian Postal Orders in favour of Reserve Bank of India payable at GPO, Mumbai.

How to Apply : Apply online at RBI website upto 08/11/2010 or BY Offline  in the prescribed format and completd in all respect to be sent by ordinary post on or before 15/11/2011. (Last date is 22/11/2011 for candidates from far-flung areas.)
